The new Cesc?

Here's a little compilation of Fran Marida, the newest wonderkid that Arsenal have stolen from Barcelona - he scored against Boreham Wood on his debut the other day which is nice. Apologies for the music accompanying the skills, which are very impressive by the way. Reminds me of a young Aaron Rosenthal, showboating at Goals...

good to see arsenal have invested heavily in the finding and developing of young players. i mean ur youth set up must've cost millions. once cole leaves your contribution to the england team will be what but i bet arsenal twats like ian wright are 1st to moan wen england dont do so well. dunno why sol left you to go abroad because you might as well be in a different country. london club my arse.

yep why bother investing in a youth set-up when you can just steal from clubs in Europe.

Who are these anonymous people?!

I think you'll find two players who came through Arsenal's youth system set up and scored the winning goal for Birmingham this week (they are there on a season long loan).

As for England players, we have young talent such as Kerrea Gilbert, Justin Hoyte, Theo Walcott, Matthew Connolly and Fabrice Muamba.

Also, it's not our fault English players are overpriced (see: Michael Carrick, Shaun Wright Phillips) or the English players we do have are greedy or have problems (see: Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Jermaine Pennant).

So who can blame us for going for young players that come to us cheaply, with talent and with a good work ethic like Cesc Fabregas?
